Short answer. A typical 3-metre balcony with two returns takes 5 sheets of T10 one metre high — 5.8 m² and about 1,100 UAH. And here is the number that matters: a one-metre parapet matches no standard sheet length at all. With a standard 2 m sheet half the steel goes into offcuts — exactly 50%.

A balcony is the clearest case where cutting to size pays for itself twice over. The reason is simple: parapet height is almost never a multiple of a standard length.
Fixing here is not what it is on a fence
On a fence the sheet is screwed into a timber rail. On a balcony there is concrete or a steel balustrade behind the sheet, and a timber roofing screw does not work at all.

Fixing the sheet straight to concrete with plugs is the classic mistake: there is no ventilation gap, condensation collects behind the sheet, and the parapet starts rusting from the inside first.
Height and wind
A balcony on the ninth floor sees markedly more wind pressure than a fence at ground level. So a balcony is better clad in T20f with its higher wave and 0.45-0.50 mm steel, even though the area is small and the difference is a few hundred hryvnia.
Fixings on a balcony are set closer than on a fence, especially along the sheet edges — that is where wind lifts cladding first.

As on a fence: the face is coloured, the back is grey primer. On a balcony you look at it every day from inside. If that matters, the inside is lined with timber or panels.

What we do not do
🔴 We do not carry out work at height. Cladding a balcony from the outside means working over the street, and doing it yourself off the parapet is dangerous. We roll the sheet and deliver it; installation is you or a crew certified for height work.
We also do not travel for on-site measuring, do not carry material up to the floor and do not obtain facade approvals.
FAQ
Is permission needed to clad a balcony? The appearance of a facade is often governed by building or city rules. Not a question for us, but worth settling before ordering.
Which profile? T10 is enough on lower floors; T20f higher up or on the windward side.
How much does the cladding weigh? A 0.45 mm sheet is light — tens of kilograms for a whole balcony. The frame weighs more than the sheet.
Can the colour face inwards? It can, but then the street sees the grey primer. Usually the colour faces out and the inside is lined.
How long is the wait? Production 1-2 working days, delivery a further 1-5 days.
