Blue metal tile is RAL 5005, a saturated blue, and RAL 5002 ultramarine, darker and deeper. On a roof blue behaves differently than on a fence: a large area under an open sky makes it calmer than you expect from the sample.
Where it fits
- Houses with a light facade where the roof is the main accent
- Extensions and gazebos matched to the main roof
- Commercial sites with corporate blue
- Country houses near water, where a blue roof looks right
Which profile we roll
We make one model of metal tile ourselves – Classic (Monterrey): 24 mm profile, 18 mm step, 350 mm tile pitch, 1100 mm working width. The 18 mm step against the usual 14 mm makes the sheet stiffer and the joint less prone to leaking. The sheet length is a multiple of the tile pitch and is matched to the slope.
Steel and coating
- Steel thickness 0.40-0.60 mm
- Coatings Pe Gloss, Pe Matt, Printech
- Metal: Ukraine, Sweden (SSAB), South Korea
- Warranty by steel class: from 20 years on technical properties (Standard) up to 50 (Lux, Swedish SSAB steel)
- Minimum roof pitch – from 14 degrees
What it goes with
A blue roof asks for a light base: white and beige plaster, light brick, light grey siding. With red brick it is a difficult pairing. Ultramarine RAL 5002 reads almost black on a dull day – worth keeping in mind if it is blue you actually want.
Price and ordering
Classic metal tile starts from UAH 226/m². The final price depends on the steel thickness, the coating type and the colour. Phone (067) 077-56-77, Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00. There is no on-site measuring visit: the manager works out the quantity from your dimensions or from a drawing you send.
