Short answer. A 3 m gate with a 1 m wicket, 2 metres high, takes 4 sheets — 9.24 m², about 1,830 UAH in T20f. T20f rather than the cheaper T10: a leaf is the one place where the sheet works in bending with no continuous support, and stiffness decides, not price.
Why T10 is not used on gates
On a fence the sheet is screwed to rails and works as cladding — the load is spread. On a leaf it is stretched over a frame and works in bending and vibration every time the gate swings. The difference between a 10 and a 20 mm wave is invisible on a fence and decisive on a leaf.

The money between T10 and T20f on this gate is about 70 UAH. That is not a saving worth a leaf that flexes in the wind.

Fixing to the frame: rivets, not screws
This is the commonest mistake. A long roofing screw on a leaf bottoms out against the frame from behind and starts bowing the sheet — a ripple appears around every fixing. It shows from the street immediately.

The pattern has to match the fence
A gate sits in the line of the fence and people see both at once. With T10 on the fence and T20f on the gate, the difference in relief shows from ten metres away — a different wave height and pitch.
So either the whole perimeter uses one profile, or the gate is deliberately picked out in another colour — as a decision, not an accident. Either way, order fence and gate in one batch so the shades match.

Step 1. Measure the opening
The width of the gate opening, the width of the wicket and the height. If the fence is already up, tell us which profile is on it.
Step 2. Choose the profile
From the table above. T10 on the fence with a stiffer gate is fine, but the relief will differ.

What we do not do
We do not make or install gates, and we do not sell frames, hinges, locks, rollers or automation. We roll the sheet to your size — the cladding is done by your welder or crew.
FAQ
What tube should the frame be? A question for whoever welds it: it depends on leaf weight and gate type. We do sell structural tube, but we do not size frames.
Clad one side or both? One side is standard and cheaper. Both sides is stiffer and hides the primer from inside, but doubles the steel and the leaf weight.
Sliding or swing? It makes no difference to the sheet, only to the frame. Sliding leaves are longer, so profile stiffness matters more.
Do you roll sheets for a non-standard gate height? Yes, the length is set with the order at no surcharge.
How long is the wait? Production 1-2 working days, delivery a further 1-5 days.
